Photography commissions from across the globe, the award ceremony for the Yves Rocher Foundation – Visa pour l’Image Photo Award to support photojournalists’ creative freedom, publication of photography books, exhibitions at the La Gacilly Photo Festival… Working with committed artists and photographers is a wonderful way for the Yves Rocher Foundation to build awareness with a poetic twist.
In partnership with Visa pour Image-Perpignan, the Yves Rocher Foundation has created the Yves Rocher Foundation Photo Prize. This prize is awarded to enable journalistic work to be carried out on issues related to the environment, relations between humans and the Earth and the major issues of ecological transition. To date, Gabriele Cecconi, Mathias Depardon, Nadia Shira Cohen, Marco Zorzanello, Fausto Podavini, Phil Hatcher-Moore and Lianne Milton have been awarded.

Gabriele Cecconi 2021 Prix Photo winner
Winner of the seventh edition of the Yves Rocher Foundation Visa Photo Prize for the Image, Gabriele Cecconi, a young Italian photographer, was awarded for his project to report on the Rohingya migration crisis in Bangladesh and its consequences on the environment. In 2022, his work will be exhibited at the La Gacilly Photo Festival and screened at Visa pour Image-Perpignan.
